About Jeroen van Hezewijk

Jeroen represents clients in domestic and multijurisdictional disputes

Jeroen’s experience covers both litigation and arbitration. He has litigated dozens of cases in the Dutch courts, with an emphasis on cases with cross-border aspects. Jeroen has significant defending clients in collective actions, having represented several multinationals in collective and class actions in the Dutch courts, particularly in antitrust-related matters.

He has expertise and experience in advising and representing companies many different industries, including the energy and natural resources, financial services, and media and technology sectors.

In the arbitration sphere, Jeroen has been involved in cases under various sets of rules, including NAI (Netherlands Arbitration Institute), DIS, ICC and UNCITRAL, as well as in enforcement and setting-aside proceedings in the Netherlands. Jeroen also sits on the Advisory Board of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute.

Jeroen is praised by clients for his talent for presenting complex matters in an accessible manner and seeing new angles and arguments to turn the case in his clients’ favour.

He is fluent in English as well as his native Dutch, plus a working knowledge of French, German and Italian.
