About Laura Bellezza
Laura is a Senior Associate, specialising in litigation matters with a particular focus on data protection and IT law
With a wealth of experience, Laura regularly advises multinational and domestic clients in serious litigation cases, representing companies in mass-claim proceedings before Italian courts and offering support during internal investigations.
Through three client secondments, Laura gained significant experience in guiding internal investigations for suspicious IT transactions and conducting gap analyses for website policies and procedures, including whistleblowing schemes. She also provided valuable advice to the Italian branch of an international client on various aspects of data and regulatory compliance during the launch of a new electronic product.
Prior to joining Freshfields, Laura served as an external advisor at another law firm, specialising in data protection and IT law.
Laura speaks Italian, English, Spanish and French.
