He focuses on M&A, private equity transactions, management incentive and other corporate matters for private equity sponsors and other global financial investors across a range of sectors.

Recent work

  • Advising Blackstone and Sixth Street Partners on the sale of Kensington Mortgages, together with a portfolio of mortgages, to Barclays Bank UK plc.
  • Advising CD&R and its portfolio company Motor Fuel Group on its agreement relating to the proposed acquisition of 337 Morrisons forecourts and more than 400 associated sites across the UK for ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging development.
  • Advising CVC and ADIA on their investment in TMF Group, which provides outsourced business services to corporates, financial institutions, asset managers, private equity and real estate investors, and family offices globally.
  • Advising Cinven-backed ETC Group on the acquisition of Amadys Group, a provider of passive equipment for telecom, infrastructure and energy markets, from Equistone Partners Europe.
  • Advising GIC on the acquisition of Miller insurance, a leading independent specialist broker, from Cinven, being GIC's first majority shareholder investment.
  • Advising GIP on the acquisition of wpd offshore GmbH from wpd AG, a leading offshore project developer and independent renewables power producer with active operations in European and Asia-Pacific markets.
  • Advising Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board on the sale of its majority shareholding in Premier Lotteries Ireland DAC, the operator of the Irish National Lottery, to La Française de Jeux, the largest French lottery gaming operator.
  • Advising PAI Partners on the acquisition of a co-controlling interest alongside Hg Capital of the Azets group, a provider of accounting, tax, audit, advisory and business services and has operations in the UK, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
  • Advising PSP Investments, one of Canada’s largest pension investment managers, in relation to its investment in NeXtWind Capital Ltd, a German renewable energy company specialising in acquiring and repowering onshore wind farms. 
  • Advising the founders of True Potential on their sale of a majority stake to Cinven.
