Charis is an associate in our global transactions team in London.
Before joining Freshfields, Charis spent over five years working in the Sydney office at Clayton Utz.
She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2017 and the High Court of Australia in 2019.
Charis has experience across a range of domestic and cross-border corporate work, including M&A, corporate advisory and governance. She has a strong track record of delivering transactions on time and on budget, having worked on projects across various industries, including infrastructure, transport, energy, resources, healthcare, manufacturing and retail. Charis has particular commercial experience in the utilities sector following a three month in-house legal counsel secondment role at Australian electricity distributor Ausgrid.
Key clients that Charis has worked with include AMP Capital, APG (Dutch pension fund), Delta Airlines, Infosys, Macquarie Bank, Nippon Steel, NRMA, Origin Energy, Visa and Volkswagen.
