About Benjamin Foster

Ben is an associate in our London intellectual property group.

Ben advises multinational and domestic clients in complex and contentious litigation. Ben has a scientific background, and has experience advising clients on a wide range of technologies as well as pharmaceutical and biotech patents.

Ben is a mentor for the firm’s Stephen Lawrence Scholarship Scheme and committee member of the LGBTQ+ network.

Recent work

Representing Moderna in UK patent proceedings against Pfizer/BioNTech, relating to COVID-19 vaccine patents.

Representing AstraZenenca in proceedings against Tesaro/GSK [2023] EWHC 803 (Ch).

Advising an American computer networking company on the ability of implementors to apply to UK courts for determination of a global FRAND license.

Advising a leading product design and home technology company on its global patent litigation strategy encompassing multiple product lines.
