About Katy Foxall
Katy is a senior associate in our global transactions group and advises clients on a broad range of complex financing arrangements.
She has particular experience in corporate secured financings and cross-border structured financings, across a variety of industries and involving listed public bonds, bank lending, liquidity facilities, US private placements and interest rate and cross-currency hedging. Katy acts for corporate treasury clients, sponsors and lenders, with a growing focus on infrastructure assets (including transport, renewables and regulated utilities) and ESG financings. She has also spent time in our New York structured finance practice.
Recent work
Non-confidential deals and highlights include advising:
- Heathrow Airport on all aspects of its operating company and holding company financings, most recently including its debut sustainability-linked listed bond, sustainability-linked loan and wrapped bond under its £50bn corporate secured financing platform at operating level
- Getlink SE on all aspects of its cross-border secured financings and refinancings under its £1.8bn and €2.2bn secured bond programme and holding company debt, most recently including its debut €425m green bond for Eurotunnel
- Marston’s PLC on all legal aspects of its financings, including its £1.135bn listed corporate secured bond programme, liquidity facility, hedging and bank lending
- Prodigy Finance on its multiple cross-border securitisation warehouse financings and corporate secured lending
- Brookfield on a €318m real estate acquisition financing of a German multifamily residential portfolio and subsequent securitisation take-out
- Mercuria Energy Trading on financing arrangements relating to its investment in N+P Group
- An arranger of a cross-border securitisation financing of inventory for a leading diamond company
- The dealers under Clydesdale Bank PLC’s €10bn global covered bonds programme on all bond issuances and programme updates
- Oxfam on various loans and payment contracts
