Chris is a corporate associate in our global transactions group in London, specialising in advising clients on cross-border M&A transactions and general corporate and listed company matters.
During his time with Freshfields, Chris has spent time on secondment to the M&A legal team at a leading international defence company.

Chris’ recent experience includes advising:
- CapitalG and Google Ventures on their investment in Monzo, the UK based challenger bank (Series I fundraising round)
- BAE on Air Astana's $847 million IPO and listings on the London Stock Exchange, Astana International Exchange and Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
- Novartis AG on the separation and spin-off of Sandoz, its generics and biosimilars division
- Deliveroo on its £1.5 billion IPO and listing on the London Stock Exchange with a US-tech-style dual-class share structure
- Croda International Plc on the (i) sale of a majority of its Performance Technologies and Industrial Chemicals businesses to Cargill and (ii) acquisition of Iberchem
- Cazoo on its $7bn de-SPAC and US listing
