About
Marcus Levy is an associate in Freshfields’ dispute resolution practice, where he represents clients in complex commercial disputes and class action litigation. Marcus has experience across a range of litigation matters, including commercial arbitration, shareholder disputes, employment discrimination claims, and bankruptcy proceedings.
Prior to joining the firm, Marcus served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Ketanji Brown Jackson in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, where he conducted legal research on federal matters including FOIA, Title VII, and civil procedures. He also worked as a paralegal at a civil rights firm, where he gained substantial experience in class action dispute resolution and constitutional law matters involving prison conditions and civil rights violations.
Marcus earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School where he served as Editor in Chief for the Michigan Journal of International Law. He holds a B.A. from Haverford College.
