About Ruth Levy

Ruth works within a multijurisdictional team of Freshfields lawyers dedicated to advising Israeli clients and businesses with interests in Israel. The team regularly work with foreign investors in Israel, including: energy majors, private equity and tech investors and other institutionals.

Ruth speaks English and Hebrew.

Recent work

• Representing Israeli public companies Sunflower and Shikun & Binui in the annulment stage of an ICSID arbitration against the Kingdom of Spain after the firm won an Award for nearly €50 million.

• Advising the Israeli and Dutch subsidiaries of an multinational tech company on their ICC arbitration regarding an alleged breach of contract. 

• Advising a middle eastern sovereign wealth fund in relation to the acquisition of a significant stake in Israeli gas field for $1 billion.

• Advising an international private equity fund on its attempt to take an Israeli public consumer goods company private in a series of transactions.
