About

Vincent is a trusted adviser in corporate law, helping clients achieve direction and competitive advantage in significant strategic matters.  As head of our corporate group in Belgium, he provides the insights clients need to meet their growth ambitions while carefully navigating regulatory hurdles. 

Vincent specialises in public and private M&A transactions and equity and debt capital markets operations, aligning his advice with clients’ commercial objectives. He is known for his strong negotiation skills and expertise in leading and co-ordinating complex deals, empowering clients to think boldly about transformative opportunities, regardless of their complexity or scale.

With experience across several sectors, Vincent advises Belgian and international corporate clients and financial investors on a range of transactions in Belgium and abroad. From public takeovers and private acquisitions to privatisations and joint ventures, he combines technical precision with commercial insight to maximise value creation and minimise risk. 

Over the years, Vincent has developed a strong relationship with his clients, who come to him for boardroom advice and assistance in the early stage of strategic projects. In every matter, he seeks to deliver integrated solutions, whether through collaboration with our finance, competition and tax teams in Brussels, or by drawing on the firm’s global network.

  • Advising Xior Student Housing on its acquisition of a €939m portfolio of purpose built student accommodation assets developed and operated by BaseCamp.
  • Advising Fluxys on its acquisition, alongside other investors, of 65.01 per cent of Dunkerque LNG's share capital. Dunkerque LNG is the owner of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Dunkirk (France).
  • Advising Catalent on (i) its acquisition of Delphi Genetics SA, a Belgium-based plasmid DNA cell and gene therapy CDMO and (ii) its acquisition of 100% of the shares in Hepathic Cell Therapy Support SA from Promethera Biosciences SA.
  • Advising Cenergy Holdings in relation to the capital increase of €200m by way of a public offer in Belgium and Greece and exempt private placements in various jurisdictions.
  • Advising Belgian listed company Groupe Bruxelles Lambert SA (GBL) and Parjointco NV on a simplification of their group holding structure materialised by a public exchange offer on Swiss listed company Pargesa Holding SA.
  • Advising Vinçotte, a Belgian market leader in TIC (testing, inspection & certification) services, and its sole shareholder the Vinçotte Foundation, on the sale of the Vinçotte group to Kiwa.
  • Advising Compagnie Nationale à Portefeuille in its participation in a reserved €200m capital increase of AKKA Technologies.
  • Advising Holcim Group on its acquisition of a 100% participation in Albatros Invest BV and its subsidiary Polytechnisch Bedrijf BV (PTB Compaktuna).
  • Advising BHF Kleinwort Benson Group and its board of directors on its response to the voluntary public takeover bid for the company launched by Fosun, and the subsequent counterbid made by Oddo for €757m.
  • Advising Viohalco, a major Greek industrial group, on several corporate reorganisations involving complex and innovative techniques. It included several cross-border mergers and the IPOs of two new holding entities on Euronext Brussels and the Athens stock exchange.
  • Advising Vitruvian Partners on the sale of Voxbone, a leading international enterprise cloud communications provider, to Bandwidth, a NASDAQ-listed enterprise cloud communications company.
  • Advising ElvalHalcor on a joint venture with Koramic through an acquisition of a 50 per cent shareholding in the capital of NedZink. Advising Canada Pension Plan Investment Board on the acquisition of a 39 per cent stake in Belgian car parking operator Interparking from AG Real Estate for €376m.
