About Jonathan Rawlings

Jonathan has been a partner in our dispute resolution practice since 2001.

He specialises in general commercial dispute resolution and has significant experience of complex multijurisdictional litigation, arbitration and investigations disputes, particularly in the financial services, energy and telecoms sectors.

Jonathan has also led, and advised on, many global bribery and corruption enquiries and investigations, and has worked closely with clients across a number of sectors to help them address relevant issues.

Jonathan recently spent five-and-a-half years in Dubai where he co-led our expanding international arbitration and dispute resolution team, and led the MENA global investigations practice. Although back in London, he remains heavily involved in disputes with a MENA element and works closely with the disputes team in Dubai.

  • A financial institution in connection with allegations of corruption and misrepresentation in respect of the marketing and sale of a structured product.
  • A pharmaceutical company in relation to allegations of misconduct of senior employees.
  • A professional services company in an investigation relating to bribery and corruption allegations.
  • A global insurance/reinsurance company in connection with its investigation into a loss of customer data and subsequent regulatory proceedings.
