Olivier is a partner in our in our Global Transactions team having recently moved to Riyadh, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after having spent over a decade in the Paris office of Freshfields. He is both a French and Swiss national and is qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and as a French Avocat à la Cour.
Olivier has a solid track record in cross-border M&A, joint ventures and projects, in particular in the consumer, construction, chemicals and energy sectors.
He is recognised for the time he devotes to transactions, his ability to solve complex issues and for having the right mix of sound judgement, reasoned arguments, practicality and tenacity, which makes him a very powerful negotiator and a deal maker.
- Advising Lactalis on the acquisition from Fonterra of its consumer and associated businesses.
- Advising Saint-Gobain on the acquisition of Fosroc, a leading global construction chemicals player, as well as on the disposal of its distribution businesses in Germany and the Netherlands.
- Advising Solvay on the sale of its amphoteric surfactant business in North America and Europe to OpenGate Capital.
- Advising RWE on the acquisition of Nordex European onshore wind and solar development businesses.
- Advising Energetický a průmyslový holding a.s. on its acquisition of French assets of German-based energy group Uniper SE.
