About Jordan Salzman

Jordan Salzman is an associate in our Employee Benefits practice based in New York. Jordan advises a wide variety of clients including public and private companies and private equity funds with respect to the employee benefit and compensation aspects of mergers and acquisitions, public company disclosures, and other corporate transactions. In addition, he represents employers and executives in the negotiation, design and implementation of employment, severance, and change in control arrangements, deferred compensation plans, and equity and other incentive compensation plans and arrangements. 

Prior to joining Freshfields, Jordan was an associate at Pepper Hamilton and Latham & Watkins in New York.

Recent work

  • Axel Springer on its pending acquisition of Allbritton, including publications POLITICO, Protocol and POLITICO Europe (a joint venture with Allbritton).
  • Western Union on the $910 million sale of Western Union Business Solutions to Goldfinch Partners and Baupost Group.
