About Mohammed Sayeed
Mohammed is a senior associate in our global transaction team, based in Abu Dhabi. He recently joined Freshfields from the mainstream corporate department of a global law firm in London where he specialised in private equity and financial sponsors work in Europe, the US and Asia.
Mohammed has experience of advising corporate clients on a broad range of cross-border transactions including leveraged buy-outs, mergers and acquisitions, consortium deals, minority investments and shareholder arrangements and has worked with leading private equity houses, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and financial investors on their international strategic investments.

Advising Mayr-Melhnof Group on its acquisition of an integrated paper mill from US based International Paper.
*Advising Clearmatics Technologies Ltd and XTX Markets on the corporate elements of developing a decentralised collateral trading platform.
*Advising Sunsuper on its acquisition of a 25% stake in Macquarie AirFinance, a subsidiary of the Macquarie Group, alongside Dutch pension fund PGGM.
*Advising Nestle S.A. on its strategic acquisition of a majority interest in a UK based D2C platform in the FMCG sector from certain venture capital funds.
*Advising PNB, Malaysia's largest asset manager, and Employers Provident Fund, Malaysia's state pension fund, on certain commercial acquisitions in the UK.
*Advising Brait SE on its acquisitions of Virgin Active from Virgin Group and CVC Capital and New Look Retail Group from funds managed by Apax and Permira and subsequent portfolio management.
*Advising Hg Capital on the sale of a cloud software platform to Visma.
*Advising The Carlyle Group on the sale of its interest in The RAC Group to funds managed by GIC.
*Advising Cerberus Capital Management on its acquisition of part of a portfolio of IHG hotels from the LRG Group.
*Advising Brookfield on its acquisition of Candor Investments Limited which holds certain high-value commercial assets in Asia from Unitech Corporate Parks plc.
*Advising Ares Management on the sale of a portfolio of Spanish real estate assets to Merlin Properties.
*Advising Bridgepoint Capital on its acquisitions of The Oasis Healthcare Group and Smiles Dental.
