About
Alexander is a senior associate in the dispute resolution department of our firm's Amsterdam office.
Alexander has a broad dispute resolution practice with a focus on commercial litigation, competition litigation, and arbitration. He acts for national and international clients in both domestic and multi-jurisdictional disputes before the Dutch Courts as well as before arbitral tribunals. He regularly teams up with our competition, corporate and finance practices in complex cross-practice and cross-border matters.
Additional Information
Recent work includes:
- Defending multiple clients against high value follow-on damages claims following infringements of competition law (including claims following infringements related to elevators, air cargo services, gas insulated switchgear, power cables, bitumen, cardboard and ethylene).
- Advising and defending a large Dutch energy company in strategic disputes concerning consumer protection rules as well as contractual disputes with service suppliers.
- Advising a number of platform service suppliers on a number of contractual matters and disputes, including various EU law and consumer law aspects affecting platform services.
- Defending product liability claims related to defective consumer and medical products.
- Advising and defending clients in post-M&A disputes, including earn-out disputes.
