About Tim Swartz
Tim is a Law Clerk in our Antitrust, Competition, and Trade practice based in Washington, DC.
Tim supports clients facing a range of antitrust issues, including mergers, civil litigation, and investigations. He also supports clients on the national security review of foreign investments conducted by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). He was also a member of the team that assisted firm client Evonik in FTC v. RAG-Stiftung et al.
Tim joined Freshfields after legal internships in the United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division and in the chambers of the Honorable M. Hannah Lauck of the Eastern District of Virginia. Prior to law school, Tim was a paralegal in the Antitrust, Competition, and Trade practice for three years.
