About Samuel Trujillo
Sam is an associate in Freshfields’ international arbitration group based in Frankfurt.
He specialises in international arbitration with a particular focus on investment arbitration and advises corporations and sovereign States in a variety of sectors, including energy, infrastructure, and financial services, in arbitration proceedings under various arbitration rules.
Prior to joining the firm, Sam advised the government of Colombia in several of its first investment arbitration disputes and in the negotiation of investment treaties.
Sam is a Colombian qualified lawyer, holds an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge and speaks English and Spanish.
