About Julia Van Heusden
Julia is an associate in the employment team of our firm's Amsterdam office, and is part of our global transactions (GT) practice group. She joined the firm in 2021. Julia advises clients on the legal and practical aspects of dealing with employees in the Netherlands. This includes matters such as the hiring and firing of staff, remuneration, pension matters, co-determination, collective bargaining agreements, collective redundancies and restrictive covenants. She also advises on the employment and pension aspects of (cross-border) M&A transactions.
Julia is fluent in Dutch and English.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) – Utrecht University;
- Exchange program – Chinese University Hong Kong;
- Master of Laws (LLM Corporate Law) – Utrecht University.
- Bachelor of Art and Economics – HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht)
