About Kieran Watkins
Kieran is a senior consultant in our EU regulatory and public affairs practice, based in Brussels.
He joined the Freshfields team in 2022. Prior to this, he worked as EU public affairs manager for a multinational engineering company. He has also worked in a Brussels-based public affairs consultancy, supporting international clients with advocacy and strategic communications in the area of sustainability.
A British native, Kieran is currently providing clients with strategic advice in the areas of energy, circular economy, chemicals, due diligence and transport.
Qualifications
- Brussels School of International Studies, Belgium (MA in Political Strategy and Communication with EU External Relations, distinction)
- University of Kent, UK (BA Hons in Journalism, first class)
