About Shiyao Zhu
Shiyao is a senior associate in our global transactions group and advises clients on a broad range of financing arrangements.
Shiyao advises on a range of complex cross-border finance transactions, including real estate finance and general corporate financings, as well as restructurings. She acts for sponsors and corporate clients across a range of sectors.

- Advising Flutter Entertainment plc on their c.£3bn equivalent financings, including in respect of the $11bn merger with The Stars Group.
- Advising the members of the Ad Hoc Committee of lenders on the financial restructuring of the AccorInvest group, which operates 887 hotels worldwide and employs over 26,000 employees in 28 countries.
- Advising Davidson Kempner on the refinancing and subsequent sale and associated mezzanine financing of the NCP car park portfolio.
- Advising Currys plc on its syndicated and bilateral working capital facilities and Covid-19 liquidity facilities.
- Advising Davidson Kempner on the acquisition related financing of UK storage facilities.
- Advising TPG Real Estate on the financing of various development sites.
- Advising Grainger plc on its syndicated and bilateral working capital facilities.
- Advising Pandox AB, the Swedish hotel property owner, on the refinancing of a portfolio of 21 hotels across the UK and Ireland and an associated internal reorganisation.
- Advising Admiralty Arch on its refinancing relating to the development, restoration and conversion of Admiralty Arch.
- Advising KKR on financings relating to hotel and industrial portfolios in Spain.
