Martha is a senior associate in our Global M&A and Capital practice based in London.
Martha advises clients across a range of sectors on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructurings, as well as general corporate advisory and listed company matters.
Martha trained at the firm, which included a secondment to our Singapore office. As an associate, Martha has been on client secondment to the M&A legal team at Entain plc.

Martha's experience advising private capital clients includes advising:
- a leading sovereign wealth fund on its co-investment in a significant European infrastructure project;
- OTPP and PSP in connection with their investment in billion dollar global renewables platform Cubico Sustainable Investments;
- PSP, on the acquisition, along with Sandbrook Capital and IMCO, of NeXtWind, a German renewable energy company;
- La Caisse in relation to its investment in FNZ;
- APG Asset Management:
- along with National Pension Service of the Republic of Korea, and Swiss Life Asset Managers, on their acquisition of Brisa, the Portuguese toll road operator; and
- on its fibre joint venture with Orange Polska;
- ArcLight Capital Partners on the disposal of Bizkaia Energia; and
- CVC Capital Partners on its initial public offering on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
Martha's experience advising strategic clients includes advising:
- Keysight Technologies on its recommended takeover of Spirent Communications plc, a competitive public to private process;
- Parker-Hannifin Corporation on its $8.8bn recommended takeover of Meggitt plc;
- Allied Universal on its £3.8bn recommended takeover of G4S plc, a competitive public to private process;
- BASF on the merger between Wintershall Dea and Harbour Energy, with the Wintershall Dea assets valued at US$11.2bn, and matters related to BASF's shareholding of Harbour Energy;
- Equans (a subsidiary of Bouygues SA, listed in Paris), on the sale of Equans Urban Energy;
- Capita plc in connection with its engagement with Oasis Management;
- SES SA in connection with resolutions put forward by Appaloosa Management at its AGM;
- Entain plc on its £600m offer and institutional placing of new ordinary shares;
- Rio Tinto plc on the US$3.5bn disposal of its interests in the Grasberg gold and copper mine to Inalum, the Indonesian state-owned miner;
- South32 on the sale of the Cerro Matoso nickel operations in Colombia to CoreX; and
- AngloGold Ashanti on the sale of its gold exploration project in Colombia.
