Anna is a principal associate in our Düsseldorf office. She represents German and international clients in complex domestic and cross-border commercial litigation cases.
She guides clients through the entire lifecycle of corporate crises, including pre-crisis risk mitigation, internal investigations, crisis management, post-crisis remediation, and follow-on disputes. Anna has extensive experience in high-stakes dispute resolution, especially defending clients against mass claims and developing successful cross-border litigation strategies. Anna has particular expertise in the strategic defence of mass claims in the automotive, financial and professional services sectors.
Anna is based primarily in our Düsseldorf office but has expanded her experience through a placement in our London office. She also completed a secondment with an automotive client, advising on product liability and product safety law.
Anna speaks German and English.
- Advised an industrial client on a major construction project, providing legal and strategic advice regarding disputes with the EPCM contractor and numerous other subcontractors, successfully achieving favourable out-of-court settlements in all cases
- Delivering comprehensive strategic advice to professional services client regarding shareholder actions and actions by derivative investors in individual proceedings as well as in proceedings of collective redress
- Advised a leading automobile manufacturer in relation to the diesel emissions issue, focusing on internal investigations and representation in cross-border mass litigation
- Defending Zurich Insurance on the civil, regulatory and insolvency law issues arising from Zurich's position as insolvency protection insurer of the insolvent German Thomas Cook companies
