China remains highly attractive for DAX and MDAX companies as it emerges from COVID lockdown. So, in spite of the increased focus on de-risking China exposure due to geopolitical considerations and the German government's restrictions on Chinese companies looking to invest here, German businesses will continue to invest in China whilst defining a potential exit strategy if that was ever needed – a delicate balancing act.
