Freshfields advises on Jinshang Bank IPO in Hong Kong
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) has advised on the IPO and listing of Jinshang Bank Co., Ltd. (‘Jinshang Bank’) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Freshfields advised the underwriting syndicate led by the Joint Sponsors (CCB International Capital Limited, China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities Limited and CMB International Capital Limited). The listing raised approximately US$420m (before the exercise of the over-allotment option). Trading in the H shares commenced on 18 July 2019.Based in Taiyuan, Jinshang Bank is the largest city commercial bank in northern China's Shanxi province.
