Freshfields advises on Ares Capital Corporation’s Notes offering
Freshfields advised the underwriters on Ares Capital Corporation’s offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of 2.875% Notes due 2027. The underwriters were led by BofA Securities, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC. Ares Capital is the largest public US business development company by market capitalization, with approximately $19.2 billion of total assets as of September 30, 2021.
