Construction and engineering
Breaking new ground.
We advise investors, builders, owners, users, public authorities and funders on the construction of every type of development, from nuclear power stations to retail parks.
Major projects require a legal adviser with a deep understanding of engineering and logistical issues. Our experience covers the entire construction and real estate lifecycle, from raising capital to advice on contracts, insurance and securities, development and procurement structures, and suitable warranties and third-party rights in sale and purchase agreements
We help our clients avoid problems but when disputes arise, we know all the resolution procedures – adjudication, expert determination, mediation and litigation – inside out.
Our dedicated construction arbitration team is part of our market-leading arbitration group, renowned for its handling of commercial and investment-treaty claims.
