About Tarlan Bananzadeh

Tarlan specializes in representing companies, officers, and directors in shareholder disputes, regulatory investigations, and business litigation.

Tarlan has litigated complex shareholder cases, including securities class actions and shareholder derivative actions.  She also has extensive experience representing companies in connection with books and records inspection demands by shareholders under Delaware law. She also has experience with data privacy, commercial, and product liability litigation. Tarlan has represented clients in the technology, electrical vehicle, life sciences, and cybersecurity industries. She has a particular focus in efficient e-discovery and fact development.

Before joining Freshfields, Tarlan worked in the Silicon Valley office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. During law school, she externed for U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas C. Mummert, III, in the Eastern District of Missouri. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cooking, photography, and learning Spanish.
