Advising Tesco on the establishment of a joint venture with China Resources Enterprise, creating a leading Chinese retailer with over 3,000 stores; and the auction sale of its Korean retail business, Homeplus, to MBK Partners.
Advising ChemChina on its $1bn acquisition of KraussMaffei, a German plastics machinery manufacturer, from Onex, a Canadian private equity fund; and its $8bn bid for Pirelli, a major Italian manufacturer of vehicle tyres and other rubber products.
