About Dylan Barber
Dylan is an associate in our antitrust, competition and trade group, based in the London office.
Dylan advises on contentious and non-contentious EU, UK and multi-jurisdictional competition law matters, including merger control, foreign investment review, behavioural matters, compliance and litigation.
Dylan has experience advising clients across a wide range of sectors, with a particular focus on the technology, media and telecoms (TMT), consumer and industrial sectors.
Prior to joining Freshfields, Dylan was a Senior Associate at Clayton Utz, a leading national Australian law firm, and was formerly the judicial associate to a judge of the Federal Court of Australia.

- Advising CK Hutchison in relation to the proposed merger of its Three UK mobile network with Vodafone UK
- Advising GIC Realty in relation to its joint venture acquisition of the student accommodation assets of Student Roost in the UK
- Advising Google in relation to various regulatory inquiries and antitrust considerations concerning its EMEA operations
- Advising London Stock Exchange Group in relation to its completed acquisition of MayStreet
