About Daniel Kees
Daniel is an associate in our antitrust, competition, and trade practice based in our Washington, DC office.
Daniel advises clients engaged in pressing antitrust litigation matters. His practice includes working with clients facing multi-district class action litigation and allegations of price fixing. He also has experience advising clients on all aspects of qui tam litigation and has handled claims related to alleged misconduct in the financial industry. Daniel has worked for clients across a broad range of sectors, including tech, financial institutions, and consumer health.
He is also an active member of the antitrust bar and currently serves as a Young Lawyer Representative on the ABA Antitrust Section’s Diversity.Advanced Committee. Prior to joining Freshfields, Daniel worked for the US Department of Justice in the Civil Rights Division where he helped litigate matters related to ensuring educational opportunities for public school students. He also was a Fulbright Scholar. Daniel speaks English and Spanish.
