About Jean-Baptiste Santini

Avocat à la Cour since 2018, Jean-Baptiste Santini joined Freshfields' public law group in 2022. His practice covers all aspects of public law. In particular, he assists companies and public entities in matters of general administrative law, public procurement law, energy law, and the rules governing public companies and public assets.

He is regularly involved on prelitigation and litigation matters before French courts or public authorities.

Recent work

  • Advising Française des Jeux in the context of several litigations introduced by competitors before the Conseil d’Etat against the privatization (in 2019) and several administrative orders introduced shortly after the privatization; and
  • Advising Agence des Participations de l'État, on the simplified tender offer for the shares of EDF initiated by the French government.
