New leadership for Global Financial Investors group
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (‘Freshfields’) has announced new leadership for its Global Financial Investors (GFI) group.The changes will see Charles Hayes take the helm as joint leader of the GFI group globally from 1 May 2019 alongside Markus Paul. In December this year, Arend von Riegen will succeed Markus whose term will end after six years in the role. The appointment of Charles, who is based in London, and Arend, based in Frankfurt, reflects the international footprint of the group and will enable the firm to take its exceptional service to its financial sponsor clients to the next level.
