Freshfields advises Emerson Electric an equity investment in inmation Software

Freshfields has advised Emerson Electric Co. (NYSE: EMR) on an equity investment in inmation Software GmbH, a global software platform developer based in Cologne, Germany. 
 
The investment further deepens Emerson’s data management and integration capabilities, helping customers in process, discrete and hybrid industries advance their digital transformation programs to achieve Top Quartile performance. Emerson’s investment in inmation will also increase data visibility and provide unified, actionable information to empower fast decision-making and optimized operations and will complement Emerson's efforts to build an innovative software platform that provides data aggregation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, augmented reality and workflow management. The platform will continue to enable Emerson's customers to achieve measurable returns from their digital transformation efforts.
