Freshfields named one of Stonewall’s Top Global Employers 2020
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (‘Freshfields’) has been included in Stonewall’s Top Global Employers List 2020, a definitive list that showcases the best multinational employers for lesbian, gay, bi and trans professionals.
The Stonewall Top Global Employers 2020 list recognises 17 organisations, compiled from submissions to the Global Workplace Equality Index, a powerful benchmarking tool used by employers to create inclusive workplaces across the market in which they operate. The Global Index enables organisations to navigate the challenge of upholding inclusive values globally and make progress towards LGBTQ+ equality, no matter where in the world they operate. It gives organisations a clear and rigorous action plan for their work across the globe.

In compiling the list, Stonewall marked organisations against nine different areas of employment policy and practice, examining both global working structures and operational country activity. Criteria used for assessment included: employee policy, training, staff engagement, leadership, monitoring, procurement, community engagement, understanding local context, global mobility and additional in-country activity.
