Freshfields announces inaugural Diversity Fellowship Program and opens 2022 application cycle

Freshfields is thrilled to announce that it has selected three second-year law students as inaugural participants in its Diversity Fellowship Program. The 2022 program application cycle is now open.

The fellowship program participants for the 2021 cycle were selected from Columbia Law School, Georgetown University Law Center and Harvard Law School.

The 2022 Freshfields Diversity Fellowship Program is open to first- and second-year law students participating in the Freshfields U.S. summer associate program who are invested in promoting diversity in the practice of law. It offers up to $20,000 in monetary benefits, mentorship from lawyers in the firm’s corporate and litigation practices who are among leaders in their respective fields, and direct exposure to the substantial pro bono work done by the firm to strengthen its impact in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion worldwide.

The Freshfields U.S. summer associate program offers the resources of a large, international firm, paired with the benefits of a smaller, more customized experience. The program is tailored each year to ensure that it remains substantive, relevant and rewarding.
