Freshfields Represents Underwriters on $1.2B Notes Offering by Republic Services

Freshfields has acted as underwriters’ counsel for the offering by Republic Services, Inc. of $400 million aggregate principal amount of 4.875% Notes due 2029 and $800 million aggregate principal amount of 5.000% Notes due 2034. Republic is one of the largest providers (by revenue) of non-hazardous solid waste collection, transfer, disposal, recycling and environmental services in the United States. The underwriters were led by J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and BofA Securities, Inc.
