Freshfields advises on the listing of ESR Cayman Limited in Hong Kong
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer ('Freshfields') has advised the joint sponsors and the underwriters on the global offering and listing of shares of ESR Cayman Limited (‘ESR’) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Dealings in the shares of ESR commenced today (1 November 2019).
ESR is the largest APAC-focused logistics real estate platform by gross floor area and by value of the assets owned directly and by the funds and investment vehicles it manages. ESR develops and manages modern logistics facilities and currently operates in the PRC, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia and India markets. ESR was co-founded by its senior management team and an affiliate of Warburg Pincus LLC. The gross proceeds from the global offering were approximately US$1.6 bn.
