Freshfields advises Union Investment on the acquisition of a European logistics portfolio worth 800m euros
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (‘Freshfields’) has advised Union Investment on its acquisition of Logistrial Real Estate GmbH from GARBE Industrial Real Estate at a transaction volume of approximately €800m.
Garbe Industrial Real Estate originally launched Logistrial in September 2019 as a potential stock exchange vehicle. The portfolio, with a total size of approximately 580,000 square meters consists of 13 existing properties and six project developments in Germany, France, Austria and the Netherlands.
The Freshfields team was led by partners Julia Haas, Martin Schiessl and Gregor von Bonin.
