Freshfields Partner Selected as Rising Star by Minority Corporate Counsel Association

New York-based corporate and M&A partner Sebastian Fain has been selected as a Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) Rising Star. The MCAA Rising Stars are lawyers whose outstanding accomplishments and dedication to the legal profession and their community establish them as “attorneys to watch.”

Sebastian’s practice focuses on M&A, activism defense and corporate governance. His recent work includes counseling the committee of independent directors of the board of Qualtrics on the $12.5bn all-cash sale of the company to a private equity consortium, which was the largest private equity transaction of 2023.

He has been recognized on the Bloomberg Law 40 Under 40 list, the Lawdragon Leading Dealmakers list, and as a 2021 Dealmaker of the Year by The American Lawyer.
