Freshfields Partner Receives Distinguished Service Award From Pace University’s Elisabeth Haub School of Law

Paul Humphreys, a New York-based partner in the Freshfields M&A practice, has been recognized with the 2024 Distinguished Service Award from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. This prestigious award honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the legal community, the Law School or the practice of law.

Paul is a 2009 graduate of the Haub School of Law and is a current member on the school’s Board of Visitors. He has also been a dedicated donor and mentor for students, often assisting the Center for Career and Professional Development.

“For me, 'service' is what makes a career in law so immensely gratifying - advocating for clients, mentoring new attorneys, building a sustainable and formidable business with my partners and, importantly, giving back to the people and institutions who have made success in law and in life possible,” shared Paul.

Paul will officially receive the award at the Leadership Awards Dinner on March 14.
