Freshfields advises Razor Group on acquisition of The Stryze Group

Global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) has advised Razor Group on its acquisition of The Stryze Group, while also assisting with the parallel Series C extension financing round. With the Stryze Group, Berlin-based global e-commerce aggregator Razor Group has acquired a leading e-commerce player in Germany. Razor also received additional funds from a funding round led by investment firm Upper90 to drive its long-term growth and to expand its business model to additional geographies, e-commerce verticals and marketplaces.

The inhouse legal team at Razor Group was led by General Counsel André Schneider.

Freshfields has advised Razor on previous financings and acquisitions, including earlier this year on the acquisition of Valoreo, a leading e-commerce company based in Latin America.
