Freshfields Partners Named to Global Arbitration Review 45 Under 45 List

Freshfields is delighted to announce that two of our international arbitration partners -- Nicholas Lingard in Singapore and Amani Khalifa in Riyadh -- have been named to Global Arbitration Review’s 45 Under 45 list.

The GAR 45 Under 45 recognizes 45 practitioners under the age of 45 as current international arbitration leaders. This edition marks the third time that GAR has published a 45 Under 45 list, with previous publications being in 2006 and 2011. In addition to the two winners, six other Freshfields lawyers made the shortlist from a 600 person applicant pool including Elliot Friedman, Oliver Marsden, Matei Purice, Caroline Richard, Sami Tannous and Natalia Zibibbo.

Nicholas Lingard, Head of the International Arbitration Asia practice, leads one of the most active arbitration practices in Asia, representing commercial parties and States in disputes around the region and the world.

Amani Khalifa handles large, complex construction disputes relating to projects in Saudi Arabia and throughout the MENA region with an emphasis on the energy, real estate and infrastructure sectors.
