Freshfields Advises Universal Music Group in its Majority Investment in Mavin Global

Freshfields is advising Universal Music Group (“UMG”) in its majority investment in independent Afrobeats record label Mavin Global. The investment will increase UMG’s presence in Afrobeats and gain the company greater exposure to the African market.
