Freshfields Advises on Ares Capital Corporation’s $1 Billion At the Market Equity Program
Freshfields advised the sales agents on the establishment of Ares Capital Corporation’s $1 billion “at the market” equity program. The sales agents under the program are Truist Securities, Inc., Regions Securities LLC and SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc. Ares Capital is the largest publicly traded business development company (BDC) by market capitalization, with over $21.8 billion of assets as of March 31, 2023.
